Are you towing below the load ratings?
The RV Safety and Education Foundation data indicates that 60% of all tow vehicles and 55% of all 5th wheel trailers exceed one or more weight safety ratings.
Ensure you're not the one exceeding a load rating.
The number one most-reported RV insurance claim is the result of damage from the sudden release of air from tires, otherwise known as a blowout.
An overloaded tire or underinflated tire can cause a sudden loss of air, also known as a blowout.
When towing a trailer, it’s crucial to ensure that the load is distributed evenly as possible.
You want to make sure that all necessary safety precautions have been taken to prevent an accident or a blowout.
Even a slight overload, or unequal weight distribution, can seriously restrict the vehicle’s braking and steering capabilities.
Higher fuel consumption and driver fatigue are also common side effects of traveling with an overloaded and poor-handling trailer.
Install this app and weigh your rig soon to achieve safer towing for you, your family, and all on the road.

Reviews of RV Weight Safety Report by Fifth Wheel St.
It appears that the Hitch GTWR and the trailer GVWR are swapped. My trailer GVWR is 16184 but the app states that my vertical load is 546 lbs. My Hitch GTWR is 2184 (25% of 2184 is 546) But 25% of 16184 is 4046, which is a lot more than the manufacturer says the hitch weight is 2184…. This app is confusing

Response from developer
Sorry for the confusion. Nothing has ever swapped in the app, nor is it possible since published. The entry for Hitch GTWR is only for the hitch. The hitch GTWR should be written or imprinted somewhere on the hitch. I think you may be entering the wrong number in the Hitch GTWR entry box. I'm confident the Hitch GTWR is more than 2184 for a fifth wheel trailer hitch. The Hitch GTWR is the published maximum weight rating of the hitch. This information is explained in the app instructions. Example: My Hitch GTWR is 24,000 pounds and the 25% max vertical load is 6,000 pounds.
