Good for Beginners, Good for Rusty CrossWorders!
I stopped doing crosswords for several years and wanted to comeback. This app was a great way to re-enter, starting off with the easy crosswords and then progressing forward. In a few months, I am hoping to move on to something like the New York Times puzzle and catch up where I left off. I would recommend it highly, even though you only get five puzzles for free and then have to pay 2.99 for another 25. Well worth it. I know it is not made up like traditional puzzles where horizontal and verticals all make up words at every intersection, but I am still enjoying it and it is helping me return to a great pasttime! Okay to pass the time
Doesn't fit the screen, so you have to scroll to see all the words. Also, some of the clues are a bit misleading. I thought the point of the word clue was to lead you to the answer. Some of the clues / answers start repeating after a while. Have passed many an hour while travelling with this app though,Show lessGrosse Johan
Good app
I enjoyed this app and you are able to receive letters you are struggling with or complete a word that has you stomped. However, you are only able today about 5/6 in each category before having to pay for more crosswords so once you use these up you have no choice but to buy...thus, this app is not really free.Show lessDLRPsy
It's okay but crosswords need a bit of work
As an app it works well, the navigation is far more intuitive then other paid versions, the positioning of the clues like an arrow word type is not as annoying as I would have thought, but if I was going to be be a bit like Craig double-barrelled what's his name on strictly I see quite a few rules or crosswords being broken here, non symmetrical and words being formed by two answers crossing where there is no corresponding clue and the formed word not making sense, this could be solved by a thick black line

Not much difference between easy, medium and hard. The answers can be a little obscure in relation to the clue.
On the positive side, filling in the crossword is straightforward and the format is clear and user friendly.Froggiebox

I always thought crossword puzzles were full of abstract vocabulary that was not relevant to the words or clues. I was wrong! I do not enjoy action games that most people do. I have found a game that not only is fun but challenges you to think out of the box. I like the help features, especially the find letter and mark errors. It gives you just enough of a hint to allow you look at the word(s) another way. I can't wait to open the game. I have found that if I close the puzzle for a while and come back to it, I have new perspective. I would highly recommend this app.Show lessZebrawatcher
