R Instructor is great for learning R
R Instructor is great for learning R. If you are starting out with R or if you are already R, you will find something that is useful. I especially like the decisioin tree for assisting what type of statisical test you should do depending on your data.Kasemontana
Solid app, responsive & knowledgable developer
Works very well, uses remote RStudio for your coding - tool you can get for PC as well. Shidan came back to me in a few hours with a user and pass for a private account-no cost.
I'm doing the Coursera course - Computing For Data Analysis, so this will help me a lot.

Helpful introduction to R
I am finding the videos and reference material of the R Instructor app to be very useful as an introduction to R. I also like the "which test" guide as an aid to building my confidence with the statistics.
The RStudio server (yes, through Safari) is also useful for practice...using it now from my iPad.Show lessInquisitive iPad

This is an excellent application. This opens up many possibilities for performing statistics, it goes far beyond being a reference. R Instructor has many features to perform advanced stats, learn from the tutorials, and the instructor provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend this app!Show lessDr. Steve 2012
Not an interface for RStudio
Just a warning for anyone who is as foolish as I am to think this would be a convenient rstudio interface. This just provides a web server, but uses the browser to access.
I have no idea how good this is as instructional material.Redtail42
The only app of its kind!
As far as I know, this is the only app that let's you work with the regular R Studio interface. Of course, the actual R instructor part is super convenient too. Please continue to develop this app, it has huge potential!

Very Helpful App!
I am new to R, which appears to be a powerful yet confusing beast to master, and I have found this app to be a big help. The videos are short and to the point, and very good - they have helped me a lot to get up and running. I would welcome more of them. The reference material is also very good, and will be useful for those times when you can't remember exactly how to get R to do what you want. Responsive developer, as well.
