Brilliant Remote Control of Stagescape
I have introduced the Stagescape M20d as the mixer for our conventional church PA system so now the existing PA combined preamp/power amp is just used as a power amp.
As the PA equipment is all in a very inaccessible position, using the iPad app to monitor the sound has transformed the capabilities of the system. It would be even more brilliant if an iPhone app was also available. My new iPhone 6 Plus has a brilliant screen and would be perfect for controlling the Stagescape.

Needs offline mode
This app needs and off line mode for demonstrations, practice and setting up between gigs

This Stagescape software is great. Works very well with the new iPad Air. Saves a lot of running to the board and everyone in the band can control their individual settings. If you own a Stagescape, this app is a MUST. Rock On!!!!!
Great app, like walking around with m20d
Just purchased m20d and started playing around with app, it was easy to configure with airport express and up and running right away. Honestly think more fluid and responsive than the console itself... awesome! The updated v1.2 firmware seems to make a big difference from what read but never played with older firmware versions.
The big thing see missing from my limited experiences so far is allowing the app to run on iPhone or at least having a scaled down version of the app for iPhone/iPad where you could assign some limited control such as monitors.

Great app for an awesome mixer
The fact that the mixer can be controlled remotely with this app is bonus. The fact that it reproduces the GUI makes it a snap to get the great sound mix. Record a song, move to the house with the iPad and adjust your mix, the return to the stage to set your monitor mix and levels. Done!
Our band has been using the Line6 system (M20d & 4 L3t speaker amps) for two months now and we have had zero problems. In fact, we get consistent compliments on the music (perfect sound reinforcement). The app is a must-have to complete the system, and be sure to follow Line6's recommendations on compatible USB WiFi adaptors.
Opportunities For Improvement: Only one we've been able to come up with...add the mute buttons to the app.

Works great with right dongle
Got the wrong wifi dongle, replaced with EnGenius one. Simple to set up. All parameters easily accessed from iPad 3. Don't see why this wouldn't work with an iPhone tho?!? Stagescape is next gen mixing mod and I-apps are the future. So far, been using this for 5 months and no issues, it's great to be able to sit in back of venue and tweak things from recorded tracks, but hard to say what it's like once stage-sound mixes with PA. Recordings so far are pretty good, but wish there was a standard 'exploded' channel strip view for us old timers to tweak on the fly... Well done Ryles and all at Line 6!

+1 have to add Demo mixer.
How about a demo app?
Other companies like presonus and mackie have the ability to use this app without a mixer connected. Why doesn't this app? It would allow us to get a feel for the way it functions, and clue us in to the features of the m20. It might also lead to more sales. Please develop an app with a demonstration mode. Thanks.
