Metronome

The metronome is very difficult to start/stop. The metronome symbol is very tiny icon in the upper left corner of the phone. The touch area is so small it takes a lot of tapping, pressing in that tiny area to get it started. A larger area for activation, for all the functionality, would improve the usefulness of this app. Also, a lower tone or selection of tones would be more pleasing to the ear instead of a high pitched screech. iPhone 12 Pro Max, IOS 14.3.

Waste time

Absolutely waste of time.
To complicated to use in Cardiac Arrest.

Response from developer

Sorry to hear that. Code CPR is very customisable so it can be useful in a great number of environments and use cases, without getting in your way. But it's core, the timer, is very simple to use, only needing a press over it to start/stop it and log your activity. Best regards

Awesome App Customer Support

Love the app and when I emailed the customer support asking about if there was a way to add custom labels they answered me within a couple hours and within a week an update was released to allow this!!

Overall great app...

Great set up. Would give 5 stars but; Metronome hurts peoples ears and skips around a lot then confuses the compressor trying to keep up with the metronome. Would like to see if you can change the metronome sound to something more like a click, like a real metronome. Otherwise I can add more events that I use at work which is wonderful. Love the favorites list saves a lot of time. Overall great app, thank you!

Response from developer

Hi, thanks for the review. As for the the metronome the sound is purposely loud, to make sure it can be heard in an loud environment. Maybe it can be made a bit shorter. As for the skipping, when testing it didn't seem to do it but I will look it again.

Enhancement

Can't start timer from the watch, an got to have the app running on the phone just to see the timer on the watch. needs to be fix, an would be nice to have a option to hear the heart beat sound from the watch to keep you on rhythm, while doing CPR.

Response from developer

Hi, this reported bug was already fixed. As for the suggested feature, it is already implemented, not with a sound but with a tap on the wrist, with the frequency defined in the iPhone app. Best regards

Keep track of any critical event with confidence

This app is destined to become the clinician's best friend. With customizable lists of drugs, procedures and clinical states - which can be shared across a workforce - it allows the accurate capturing of any event and intervention, including those during a resuscitation. With built-in timers it can prompt CPR rates as well as timed drug administration. The resulting record allows the clinician to write high quality and reliable notes after the event. Many thanks to the developer for such a useful app.

Response from developer

Thanks Good to know that is useful.

Not intuitive!

I download this app thinking that it will be great to have something to help you in a code but after try it for some time I realize that this is not an intuitive app and needs some refinements. Also in this situation you need to focus in what are you doing and not in what button do you need to touch to record the situation. I appreciate that the developer try to make something great to help the healthcare workers in that situation of stress but the app needs to be easier to operate and more intuitive.
