Reviews of The Great Composers

  • Disappointed cut/paste from Wikipedia

This simple app was a disappointment. It merely allows you to click on a composer's name to read the material posted for free on wikipedia. There are no graphics (other than a painting of the composer's face) or listing of what the composer wrote. There are no music samples. The text cut-and-pasted from wikipedia is merely dumped onto the screen and made slightly difficult to read due to the running together of paragraphs and lack of indentation. After reading through about a dozen entries, I deleted this app.
  • Nice app

For the newbie in this type of music, I enjoy the app very much. Easy to use and inexpensive
  • Will not sync

Just bought this. But it will not sync as it "requires a newer version of iPod software." An update check revealed my software is up to date. So essentially, I've
just been ripped off for $3.99. AVOID.
