Based on the Culinary Backstreets blog this app has a lot of great recommendations to experience authentic food in Istanbul. Furthermore the 'Nearby' function and search by area are very helpful when wandering around.

The nearby feature doesn't work at all. It very difficult to find places around you .
You have to go through each review to search for a place which is near you from the address . It's difficult to do for tourists .
The reviews are available online in any case . So it's a waste of 5 dollars without the location features .Show lesssameepk

If you like food, if you are going to Istanbul, buy this app. You will not be disappointed. I impressed all my friends with their suggestions. More importantly, we had a lot of fun and we learned a ton. Can't recommend this enough. Loved that it worked offline!2323CMT
