Just downloaded this ad Blocker.
One of the few which supports my iPhone 5c.
Strange that most don't support my 2 yr old 5c, running the latest iOS 10.3.3.
I SMELL a rotten apple here.

Useless
Couldn't get it to work...seemed to block all my server access. Removed app and a couple of others & problem was resolved. Went to reinstall Ad-Blocker & it told me my trial was expired? Guess I won't be using upgrading or recommending this one then!!!
AdBlocker for Chromecast
I cannot understand the positive reviews shown here, as my experience has been completely the opposite!
Tried the free version first, but when that wouldn't project from iPad to the TV set via Chromecast, I paid for and installed the 'Pro' version, thinking that this might offer better functionality.
Whilst both versions will initiate the 'AdBlocker' background picture on the TV set after the 'cast' function is triggered (complete with moving red stripes across the bottom) this is as far as anything goes, i.e. the program you wish to view does NOT appear on the TV screen. Another shortcoming is that there doesn't seem to be any way of bookmarking a program, the way there should be and is with other browsers.
I have of course deleted and re-installed he app, but with identical result.
Have (twice!) reported the problems to the supplier without the slightest response after weeks of waiting, and also reported the failure to Apple (who are supposed to respond within a week or so) but have received neither response or even acknowledgement from there either.
At first, I couldn't decide whether 'AdBlocker for Chromecast' was just an amateur and inept effort, or whether the thing is just a straight scam. I now believe it's the latter.
Earnestly suggest you don't waste your money on this one! I use the 'TV Cast for Chrome' browser instead, which works quite well.

Unhappy about casting issues
I brought this app last year. I am very disappointed that it does not provide casting option for all the videos. I have reported this earlier this year but i have not heard any thing from them or about the fix. Because of these issues, i bought another app, spending that much money, it wasn't worth. I hope they will come up with the fix.

Zero is more appropriate
If I could I would give this app no star. I was really excited to use it because of all the good reviews but I'm just really disappointed. Activating the try before you buy only made the app slow and did not eliminate the redirection to ads. Very disappointed and I'm uninstalling it.
Needs improvement but helps.
I am noticing that this app seems to block advertisements successfully by forcing apps through a VPN is sets up on my phone. This causes a lot of issues with certain applications. I do t know if it is possible but it would be nice if it were possible to select the applications that you want in the VPN. For instance, Google sometimes tells me it has no internet connection with full service. I definitely don't want to have to hit the "try again" button a hundred times before the VPN wakes up and realizes what I am trying to do. Unfortunately for ad blocker, smart phones need to be fast and the VPN slows things way down. Perhaps my assessment on how the application works is wrong, but I never had these problems before I installed Ad Blocker.
I have also noticed that when I attempt to stream things through the browser, that it crashes pretty consistently. I go to a site for TV shows and everything I attempt to load crashes the app.
I'm certain this application will get better with time, because it's essential on my computers and I have faith in the developers for that reason alone.
Worth the price, but it doesn't block everything.

Does what it says it will... Poorly
This is my first and very brief attempt at using a browser with an inbuilt ad-blocker on my iPhone and β to be fair β it does seem to work. The websites I normally spend time on that are ad heavy had almost all of their ads blocked (the only counter example were "close ad" buttons that still had to be clicked on videos. But the ads themselves were blocked). However, it's *not* the best browser β I can't speak for the main app, but websites were noticeably worse looking (possibly because it claims to default to the Desktop version without clarifying why??!) some pages that would normally just work were difficult to navigate or had buttons off screen (a problem that's very common when viewing desktop versions of sites in Safari as well) and generally after 10 minutes of using I just felt I'd downgraded. If you're going to switch into it for ad-rich websites then it might be good, but I'm going to try the other ad-block browsers before I consider doing that.

Annoying pop ups
I find this app quite good but it does itself what if says it will stop doing for you. That is, every time i open the app, i get a pop up ad to buy another one of their apps. I paid them for the full app to block ads and it displays ads itself. PLEASE CHANGE THIS !!!!
Cannot upgrade to Pro
Sort this out Benjamin! No link to upgrade to pro version! Going around in circles here. When the iTunes link randomly appeared after closing the app, the iTunes log in appeared and didn't recognise it and told me the password was wrong / user not found! This caused me worry. So I checked it by signing into the iTunes app. Thank goodness! My account had not been hacked, the password I used was correct, and your app is mistaken by saying my password was incorrect. Thank you for wasting my time trying to find a link to upgrade with no success, and thank you for causing me worry thinking someone had hacked my iTunes account!!
