Great for newbies!
Having not had a bike for a number of years, and then the wife and I bought a bike each, this app has been brilliant, I've learnt how to adjust v-brakes, how best to put a new bike together, saved time fitting accessories that needed bits removing and even trued the wonky wheel on my new bike (which I was initially gutted about).
It cost a couple of quid, but is worth it for the time saved and confidence it gave me to attempt the work myself.

Bikes have changed a lot since I last had one. Mine had cotter pins. Things have moved on and most of what I know is no longer relevant so I bought this app.
It's very good with plenty of pictures and good descriptions. The solutions to two of the problems that I am having with my Moulton are explained in here so I can't wait to get home and fix it.

So-so for 5 bucks
Good start, but still too text heavy, and the vast majority of photos do not clearly illustrate what the text is explaining. Also the vast majority of the first 25-30 photos I looked at were terribly out of focus.Flacci
Unsophisticated.
This app is simple and straight forward.
The categories are ok but there seems to be a section lubrication information missing, this would be beneficial.
I got tired really quickly with the nag screen at the end of each item. This is a real irritation.donuil
Ok, but not worth $4.99
Eh. Needs MUCH more content, pictures, and videos to be a $4.99 app. Also, the GUI is inconsistent. For some content the 'Next' button is on the bottom of the screen and for other content it's on top. This should be a $1.99 app at the very most.
The instructions, tips, and advice are good and informative, as you'd expect from Andreas. I hope he keeps improving this. C'mon London Cyclist, you're better than this!Show lessGroovity
Bike Doctor- a must for bike repair rookies
Great app with crystal clear instructions and pictures which allows even the most incompetent DIY cyclists among us to have a go themselves and get to know there bike better, saving the pennies along the way.
I would still recommend a maintenance workshop to increase skill levels and confidence but this app will be great to have the essentials to your fingertips.Show lesshardier1
