It's bizarre to me that I have to specify which version I'm rating, but here goes. I started playing this on the iPhone and I was enjoying it. I don't love the fact that every day the daily quests are the same, but other than that it was a good little game. Decided to put it on my new iPad because my eyesight is garbage, thinking that it would be the same game just bigger and easier on the eyes. NOPE. Yes, it's bigger, but you also have to find almost double the amount of words you have to find in the iPhone version. That's fine for the Classic and Progression game types, but for the Time-Based ones? Awful. Not even slightly enjoyable. Logging in also does absolutely nothing. Logging in with Facebook immediately gives an error, and signing in with Apple seems like it works, but when you leave the app and come back you're no longer signed in.
Also, the game is more than happy to show me an ad to unlock a specific category, but then after I watch the ad, the category doesn't unlock.Show lessBiyxtren
Love this game. But keeps crashing!
Recently, over the past month, app crashes upon opening. I have deleted, and redownload app to reinstall. Unfortunately, I loose my levels, and have to start from Level 1 again. This is the BEST word search game out there - sure wish my level data was not lost, and NOW it’s crashing again!ColoradoBahamas
I don’t want to be followed!
I was going to upgrade to a paid version but now I’m going to uninstall due to the new “accept us to follow you if you want to play or we won’t let you play until you do because you can’t close out the allow us to follow you screen unless you accept”Nice way to treat your customers. I wonder how many other people are going to uninstall? With there being so many other word search games out there I don’t think this is good business. Almost perfect
The biggest flaw with this app is I wish you could reset your record times. I’d like to be able to erase all my old times and start fresh. Also not a fan of the new update where I can’t scroll and see all my words and if a word isn’t in the word bank yet I can’t even highlight it in the word search until it does appear in the word bank which is new and definitely a negative addition.Show lessJenny Tsunami
Love this app but I have a suggestion to make it better
This is my favorite word search app but to make it even better is when I do the daily puzzle, the hint box at the bottom of the screen covers up one of the words to find in the puzzle and sometimes I have a hard time figuring out what the word is. It would be great to put the hint icon at the top of the puzzle.Show lessNascarfan2921
Sick of paying for apps!
I’m really getting tired of buying apps and developers then switching to subscription based systems! Then not being able to restore you purchase just like this company is doing with this app! Every time I try and restore my previous purchase...”oops! Something went wrong, can’t connect to server”. Such bullshhhhh! But if I wanted to purchase the new OVERpriced subscription I bet there’s zero connection problems! I’ll just go back to buying word search books, I can’t get enough books to last me the rest of my life for under 10$.Show lessDongzo36
Dissatisfied after years of enjoyment
I’ve had this game downloaded for YEARS and have enjoyed it....until the last week or two. I just deleted it because I can no longer get to the actual game. As always with free apps, there are ads. I understand that and don’t mind until those ads interfere with the game. Recently, the ads take me to safari or the App Store. I can handle that. UNTIL when I try to return to the game, I only get the ad and the process starts again. After no less than TEN attempts today, I’m done. I think my dad will like it
I was looking for a Word Search app that my 100 year old father could use and not be timed or bugged or distracted by other things and after trying 4 or 5 other apps I found this one. Thank God, it is just what I was looking for. Just the simple Word Search and I can even choose a category to work on. Yay and Thank you.Show lessJ's Grandmama

I enjoy playing this game, but one thing I’d like to see is an Undo feature. There’ve been many times when I’ve started swiping a word, but ended up swiping a different word that was part of the larger word, like “car” or “pet,” when I was going for “carpet.” This would be most helpful on the Daily puzzles, where it’s often possible to use all the letters, as long as you don’t accidentally swipe the word that would complete it somewhere else!

As far as your example goes, you should be able to swipe overlapping words, so you should be able to swipe the word "carpet" after you swiped "car" or/and "pet." I am running 5.6 version and it crashes while trying to load. I have sent the complaint in twice, but it continues. I have also deleted and reinstalled which of course I lost my 20 something levels of progress. If I delete again, I will not reinstall.LadybugV7
