There’s no way to cancel

This company has the absolute worst customer service. I tried to sign up for the free trial but couldn’t figure out how to start the trial. I emailed to inquire about it but did not get a response for days - but they would not extend the trial so I could actually have a week to try it.

We tried to use it with the few days we had left on the trial, but the app keeps crashing. We had to delete it and reinstall it more than once to get it working.

I decided I did not want to continue the trial, because all my kid wanted to do was watch the videos. However, I could not find any way to cancel because the app is continually crashing. I emailed them three days ago and still no response. In the meantime I find that my card has been charged $40. $40 for an app I do not want and can’t even use if I did want to. I am very angry about this.

Btw, I see that many of the five-star reviews were posted on June 16 or thereabouts. Are those real reviews or were they paid??

To the developers: thanks for your response. But you have not addressed my problem. I still have not received any response about cancelling. Are you going to keep charging me $40 every few months, whether I like it or not? What kind of business are you running? I want a refund of the $40 you charged to my card, and assurance that you will not continue to charge me for something I do not want and can’t even use.

Update: we have now included a link to manage your subscription directly from the app. Now even our users who are not too familiar with the way App Store subscription management works can upgrade, downgrade or cancel their subscription or trial with a tap of a button! Hello! Here is just a small follow up on your issue. As it was probably mentioned in our reply to your email with the issue the free trial starts immediately when you purchase a subscription. The thing is that some subscription plans do not have free trial. Usually it is mentionned in the subscription conditions. We have already fixed the majority of reasons why the app crashes. Sometimes it appears due to incompatibility with some devices. By now, we have hired more professional staff to our Customer Support Team and we do our best to answer customers asap when the problem appears. If you are charged by mistake you can always contact us via info@kidsacademy.mobi and we will do our best to provide you with a refund. If your problerm is solved, we will greatly appreciate if you change your rate to 5 stars. Please, email us with your nickname and we will provide you with a small gift if you still use our app.

Great app

My daughter is all about learning games currently. I've tried quite a few apps and this is so far her favorite. We have it downloaded on the ipad and she is always asking to play. Looking forward to when my son gets older to use it as well!

Update: My daughter is more interested in doing her homework and learning with this app then any other one we have downloaded. She loves doing the worksheets and going through all the segments. Thank you!

Nice app

I have printed a few free worksheets for my son and he likes doing them. It’s easy to understand and fun to do. Promising apps. Worth give it a try.

I have used the program just a little because I do not have the money to pay for it. I was able to use the worksheets for k. Thaw enjoyed them so much. We used the video activities for some students. The children I work with go to a charter school and do not have access to computers very often. I bring my iPad and let them use them. They like the interaction and are learning. I would love to win a gift to card to pay for Kids Academy. Thanks Sr. Genevieve Efthemls

Thanks for your feedback! We're working on a special learning management system for teachers to complement our apps. As a teacher, you will be able to add your personal view to learning and build a customized educational path with FREE access to our learning resources on ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies for K-3 grades. Students will be able to access all classes they are assigned to using iPads or Android tablets. Please contact us to be the first to know when the platform will be released.

We down loaded this and a similar competing app. Did both free trials and my daughter cried when I told her mommy canceled the subscription to the app! 🤦🏻‍♀️ (no problem canceling... not sure what others were encountering)

I love the features and the print out pages are awesome!

So I'm back and excited to see how they develop in the next school year. 💞
