Way too many issues

I don’t recommend this app at all. It’s been an absolute hassle for us. My daughter completed kindergarten and 1st grade and then all of her progress disappeared. We cannot access the reports either to see where she was last and what she has completed. I have contacted Kids Academy multiple times about this and it has yet to be resolved so I am requesting a refund because I purchased the lifetime subscription but I can’t get any help resolving these issues. This is one of my daughters main educational tools she uses especially during the summer months and I’m extremely disappointed in how this has turned out for her. Be cautious when purchasing this app!!!

It took me a long time to choose a good app. It was important to me to find a really understandable and interesting app. My daughter is very active and it is difficult for her to sit still, but the bright design and the interactive format were able to involve her.

I’m so happy using this app

Good app
Great videos that our boys would watch for hours, nice coloring and tracing activities, smart games kids can really learn from. Kids need help from parents sometimes but in general it’s pretty easy to understand how to navigate and find stuff.

Great WHEN it works….Glitches are awful!!!

My daughter was only 30 minutes into our 7 day free trail when the app started to glitch. She had to close out & restart multiple times before she got frustrated & was done for the day. Which honestly is a bummer bc for the 30 minutes before the glitches started…she seemed to really enjoy it. I read other reviews about this happening & decided to give it a try anyways bc of all the fun educational content previewed. But this definitely makes me skeptical of moving forward with any subscription. It’s bad enough that it happens at all when spending money, but when it happens this quickly….makes you think of what’s to come.

Doesn’t even load without payment

Why would you not offer a little bit of content for free so we can tap around and see what the app is all about? I understand there’s a free trial (a very short 7 days) but I don’t want to deal with canceling if it doesn’t turn out to be what we imagined. And based on other reviews canceling is indeed a hassle. Perhaps it’s the business model; force users to buy a subscription and make money off those who forget to cancel, in addition to those who use it legitimately.

support team ıs terrible

I subscribed to it 3 months ago. my son loved all activities and useful for him due to virtual class but this app hasn't had the voice for two weeks. I I followed all instructions wrote 5 emails about this problem because my son couldn't hear video voice he can not do activities. Instead of solving the sound problem, they won't throw you off. Their solution “check device setting or contact apple support team”. The support team says please check the device voice button.

Overpriced

I forgot to unsubscribe before the 3 day trial was over so I was stuck paying the full $65/yr subscription. If it had better content I wouldn’t mind but it’s lacking in instruction and overall richness of educational material. Since I paid for it, I’ll make an effort to use it with my 3 year old. I will have to play the games with her and narrate for her to get anything out of it. I was hoping for something she could do herself during quiet time. Also I have a feeling a lot of the 5 star reviews are fake. Just look at the names. Pretty lame.
