An essential aid for walking in the mountains
I first found about this app when found information on the walking map of Saalbach. With a few walking holidays under my belt and badges collected from other areas in Austria, it was good to see the method of collecting the points now done electronically, rather than collecting stamps a on bit of paper that was very tatty after a week.
SummitLynx have responded to emails within 24 hours; to resolve a query for myself and a failed check in for a friend.
I love the emergency information held on the app should the worst happen and there is the need to contact help, your current longitude and latitude co ordinates are available there is even a button to call for help. Having not tested this, I hope it brings up a second box checking you really want to connect to the emergency services.
