Turned into Charge App without notice
As others have said was a really good app for news but definitely not worth paying for. For those like me that upgraded the app on your phone, just delete the app from your phone and download your previously saved old version from your iTunes. This reinstates it back to the old version with all features back for free again :)Show lessMagiovinium
Why spoil a good thing?
As many have already said, been using this for years as it was the best F1 app anywhere.
Not any more, I will not pay for free info through the greed of the developers. I know apps need to be funded somehow, but to introduce a monthly or annual fee is a disgrace after such a long time building a loyal fan base.
I would have happily paid a one off fee, as I'm sure so would many others would have, but not anymore, I feel betrayed and let down. Will need to find another app now.Show lessGrahamsl

Sorry, guys. Been using you and recommending your app to friends for years. But now you're asking for a subscription to news articles that we can easily get by typing in "F1" into Google. Bad move, and as you can clearly see, one that will cost you your most loyal customer base. You really should have thought this through before pushing an update out that blocks all users (even your old ones).Show lessBlueBliss
Disappointed!
I am disappointed with the upgrade to v4.0 as the free news is gone. Now there is no value from this app for me. Previously I was happy that you had to pay for the real detail but no more.Grampy58

I have had this app for years for catching up on F1 news, then suddenly they want a monthly or annual subscription! No thanks!
Even on a free app you wouldn't normally complain about the occasional advert but paying for news you can get free elsewhere is plain greedy.

Fantastic volume of information
This is a great app full of information covering 50 years of F1 history. Contains thousands of facts and figures on all aspects of F1. Looking forward to see how 2017 seasons information buildslm04xxx
Superb app for any F1 anorak
This review is for the full unlocked version which I think is worth every penny. The news section is obviously the main reason for buying initially but having all the stats you could ever want only a finger tap away is an F1 geeks dream.Johnmyitunes
Ok does not blow me away
It's average really I brought it for 79p and thought yeah it's ok until I went to click on statistics and it asks me to purchase full version ........what just for a few statistics!!
Also after the first Australian practice this year it was to slow to update itself with what has happened I found myself back on sky sports to find that out
All in all good app for f1 news but that's about it and not worth 79pShow lessDay1982
