Takes up too much space for a news app

Hangs ALL the time recently
I have multiple ios devices and all of the apps hang whether reading articles or ePaper. The app would freeze for seconds or minutes before responding.
It's the same for ST, zaobao and BT.

Upgraded to new iPad. ST App won’t load anymore.

The Straits Times
These last 2 months December 2021 and January 2022 I have not been able to connect from my email copy of the Straits Times and can only get a blank screen if I attempt to download direct from Apps
The Straits Times Press Holdings just won’t let me open and read the papers.

Not stable
I am in NY and now it is saying it can not find the server…. I have to use a vpn in Asia to be able to load content from ST.
Even if i subscribed fully still dont have access to everything
