Description of Brain Anatomy

I created Brain Anatomy as my graduation thesis work. It's an interactive human neuroanatomy atlas. You will find: lateral surface of human brain, dorsal surface, medial surface, many coronal and horizontal sections and all brodmann areas. It is possible to have a test to verify what you know about neuroanatomy for each section. This application was created with supervision by Prof. John Kubie, Department of Cell Biology at Suny Downstate Medical Center and Prof. Alessandro Angrilli, Dept of General Psychology at University of Padua, Italy.

Reviews of Brain Anatomy

  • Excellent study guide

    Great app!
  • Good with a few errors

The head of the caudate nucleus is mis-labeled as the tail of the caudate in at least 2 of the coronal sections.
  • Awesome work

This software gives a student an excellent foundation.

    I would add...

Be able to touch an area and have the correct name light up.

Thanks for sharing your hard work with us.
