Perfect for someone with Autism.

(I posted a very similar review on Light Box as I find them equally amazing).

When I got my first ever iPad two years ago, I downloaded this immediately after I got Light Box.

I have autism and suffer with very severe sensory issues. I find this app very relaxing, calming and fun to use. I like to turn off all of my lights in my room and play with the app.

It is brilliant and it is worth the cost. I am so grateful this app exists and I hope they make more because I'll be the first there to buy it!

It has a variety of different options. My favourite is Disk Spin, Ground Control and Pixelydian. The imagery is very nice to look at and very pleasant. You can choose the background colour easily but I prefer to keep it black.

The sound doesn't hurt my ears which is something I find weird as it does include quite high pitched noises but I believe I don't find these noises upsetting because I can control when they play or not.

Thank you Cognable for such a great app. It's really made my life that little bit easier as it helps me calm down during stressful times during the day. I really hope you make more.

Great app

This is one of the best apps I can't say enough about it I've already recommended it to quite a few of my friends
This app is good for somebody who is has some sensory issues
This app has helped me when I've been overstimulated by too much sensory stuff going on

Great

This app is awesome, my ASD son loves it, money well spent. Keeps him entertained and calm for hours.

My son actually interacts with this App

I've never been able to get his attention, he just shuts my iPhone off but he actually touches the screen with this app, this was what I was looking for! I'm gearing up to get him a touch to talk app on an iPad and this gives me a great starting point! My son has sever delays but is very smart and can learn even better with the right materials, thank you for making this app!

Almost Perfect!

I purchased this after purchasing Cause and Effect Sensory Light Box.
Through touch control one can manipulate pitch, pan, and the visual.
Nice mix of sounds from nature to synthesized.
I'm surprised that no siren is included. I'd love to be able to offer my students more kid centered sounds.
I believe that the population this was intended for needs more variation in visual contrast.
For example, I hear rain but seeing the rain is difficult.

It would be nice if the sound blip could be eliminated when each effect loads.
It would also be nice if the icons of the index of effects could be bigger so one could read the names and not have to have such fine motor control.
The icon used to stop one effect and return to the index is really small. Perhaps that is on purpose but again one needs to have fine motor control.
This doesn't encourage any development of choice. Maybe you could offer two modes in the future. One for people who need hand over hand assistance and
another mode for individuals who are working on makeing choices.

I can see OT/PTs and special education teachers loving this! Thanks.
