  • Great interactive app

My nephew love this app because of Pixel and the various mini activities in the game. It get him interested in the story and the presents they get throughout the story keep him wanting more.

One thing that can be improved on if every time Parker moves can the game count the number of spaces, I think it would be really helpful for toddlers that are starting to count.
A great app that can be played more than a few times.

  • Kids love this app

I set my iPad down on a picnic table with this app running and it was immediately swarmed by kids. It was definitely a big hit. As far as the stuck screen comment goes, I had a whole bunch of apps that were doing that. It turns out that it was because I hadn’t installed the latest iOS update. Once I did that, all was well. So if you’re having a similar problem, try updating your software and that should do the trick.

  • very engaging and creative

First of all, I'm very glad to report this app works on my iPad (3rd gen) with no problems whatsoever, because my kids and I all love this app! The kids love the board game aspect of it and all the activities that you perform along the way to finding the main character's cat. They especially love that you can earn shirts for the character along the way. Each time you play the game, you can choose which shirt he will wear from your collection. I love that the activities require some thought. Very unique app. I hope they make more of these!

  • Great app

It's a March 18 review...not May. I'm glad I didn't pay attention to the negative reviews and downloaded the app. It works well and is very cute. Great interactive elements.
  • Good

Gets points for being different, not your usual app. Would be nice though to change the ending up a bit so the cat is not always on the porch but instead can be found various places on the board. Kids have questioned why the boy never gets dinner before going to bed. Not a complaint but just pointing out how kids think.

  • Tops!

This is an excellent little story, well presented and attractively packaged. Kids love it. My 5-year-old granddaughter just read it 7 times in a row and it was different each time. Nice job to all who created it!
  • Good, but not designed for young kids

This is a great app, except it was designed poorly for its target audience. It requires perfect touching and swiping and doesn't allow for multiple fingers to touch the screen at the same time. That means if my son is holding the ipad with his thumbs then the screen doesn't recognize anything he touches because his thumb is already touching it. I don't have this issue with other apps designed for his age, so it's clearly a design flaw. Likewise, the spinner requires perfectly starting right from the arrow, not swiping past or nearby. He gets too frustrated and closes the app after several failed attempts.

  • Amazing! Bring us more!

My 5-year old kid as severe autism and can be a tough customer to please. He is completely hooked! The spinner and interesting scenes are fabulous. Lots to explore. Lots of counting and age-appropriate language. My only complaint is you need to bring out more of these board-game-like apps! This is a great idea! Huge!

  • Fun!

My students really enjoy this app. It is an interactive story with a game built in that is different each time you play. The kids really love spinning and playing the mini games. Please make more apps like this or add more challenges for Pixel and Parker to overcome!
  • Awesome

Worth the money. This is great app. Kind of like chutes and ladders. There is math involved. My four year old loves it. I actually like all the toddler apps from this maker. Quality play.
