Great concept, poor execution...
The art style and story were enough to get me to purchase the first pack of upcoming chapters.
That was months ago.
Since then, one more chapter's been released (chapter 3) - which offers about 5 minutes of story.
At this rate, it'll be years before the full story was told. Either they aren't putting new chapters out as fast as they'd planned, or they knew chapters would be released along such a slow timetable, and misled potential customers.
Either way, it's led to an experience that started with fascination and has turned to frustration.Show lessDave3798

The Comics style for tomorrow!
Being a big BD/Comics reader and buying a lot of them I found this app via some french comics-related blog... I find it awesome. It is a great media to use with printed/digital graphic stuff.
Beyond the specific story developed here (which is quite interesting and gripping so far) I think the creators of this app are bringing what the BD/Comics experience should be on a tablet. It is generally difficult to bring this type of narrative to a device without crowding/clunking the space and this is truly the future of comics as I see it: fluid transitions (playing on picture size as well), light 3D effects, minimal use of animations, gyroscopic effects, bring the use of this app to the point that you get into the story very comfortably. The app serves the content and not -as some developers have sometimes tried clumsily- the contrary.
I am convinced there is a way to bring BD/Comics classics such as Tintin or Superman on that type of platform using the same dose/level of effects... in the meantime big up and keep the chapters coming! (In the end the total price of this app does not cost more than a hardcover collector such a Watchmen!) Beautiful and haunting
Admittedly, I'm a fan of Daniel's work. That said, this is amazing! The way the story and the score work together make for an immersive and unique experience unlike any other. There's something about the medium and the platform that gives the reader a very unique experience. It's not quite reading a book, not quite watching a movie, but something more ethereal.
In the first two chapters, you start to know the characters, and by the end of chapter two, you're really hooked. It is shaping up to be good sci-fi with compelling characters, and I'm sure some delicious twists. Can't wait to see how this story unfolds!Show lessrosie1979
To little, to soon, to much money.
I love the concept, intriguing graphic novel but I'm not going to wait for however long it takes to be fully realized. Chapters are 5 minutes long. You should have waited till the novel was done then release it for one price. As it is now its just a disjointed experience.efforting

Brilliant experiment
Anyone who has read Scott McCloud's "Understanding Comics" will immediately recognize that this is the evolution of sequential art. While many digital comics toy with new ideas--such as guided reading--others branch off and reform the medium by incorporating multiple forms of art. This creates a whole new, and wonderful, experience.
