  • Not impressed by misinformation in description!!

In app purchase of $4.99 required for full functionality. But as soon as I paid $4.99 the app asks for a further payment for additional functionality!
A very bad start! I hope the rest of my experience with it is better.
  • Needs some work

Need to add zoom function, often crashes while flicking between images, irritating metadata appears everytime you open an image. Otherwise good transfer capabilities and nice interface.
  • Photographers Helper

I have been looking for an app that makes it easy to move pictures from Lightroom to my iPad. I have tried Dropbox, online websites, other apps, iTunes as intermediaries, but this is the only one I found that does not need the extra step. It's easy to move pictures directly from Lightroom to my iPad. I have used this to show clients, and show off pictures. My only complaint is that since it does not utilize the standard iPad photo structure, these photos are not available to other apps that might be used to view them also or use them for a photo workflow (I.e. "preveal", etc)

  • App-solutely useful

Although this is not an easy app to set up - you have to install a plug-in in Lightroom and then the app on the iPad - the end result is worth the trouble. Gallery for Lightroom will export a collection from Lightroom and display the photos as a slideshow on your iPad. The actual method can require some getting used to but after a while, the method becomes second nature. A bargain at £1.49 and very useful for photographers who want to display their existing photos in a convenient way.

  • Nice accessory to LR

This app works as advertised. I like the fact the I can set up a collection of images in Lightroom then export that straight to my iPad for viewing by clients in remote locations. What this means is that I can export virtual copies, pds's and Lightroom edited images straight to the iPad without the need to export as jpg's to iTunes or the Mac before loading them to the iPad. A simple and clean app. Be aware that you also have to install the "GL" plugin for Lightroom. This plugin is on Formal Systems website.

  • No useful help in app

After going to the "workflow" section of their website, I now understand that this a bit of a chore to use... Not really what I was looking for, but then no one has yet hit on a really useful LR tool for iPad in my opinion.
