Superb app
The best app I have ever come across. I love the way one can add the strings along with the drone sound in background . You can use this to sing along as the background music will come automatically based on the raga selected.
It is just amazing!!! Hats off to the developers.
I am going with 5 stars - but a few suggestions here.
- add more ragas please e. g Kalyan , pahadi etc they will enrich the app.

Brilliant, but I have a few suggestion
This app is fun and inventive but it would be full 5 stars if the sound was continuous, such as the sounds of a swarpeti. Another good idea would be if other presets could be saved. Lastly, it would be great if there was a landscape mode showing just the keys. I hope you act upon these suggestion. Involved in kirtan and world music chant and meditation for over 10 yrs this app is wonderful. Thank you for bringing to iPhone the difficult to access higher realms.

Great little app!
The wonderful thing about this app is the musical theory behind it. Often western musicians (and increasingly players from the sub-continent) tune their instruments to a Just temperment. Sometimes this means it is wildly out from an accurate tuning or otherwise they use equal temperament which is only useful for western instruments of the modern era. This app uses accurate tunings as taught by esteemed musician and maestro Ustad Wahjahat Khan.
Apart from this the app is FUN! try using it and wandering about with ambient noises setting off a chorus of sitar strings.
You can use it for tuning although it would be better if it had a continuous tone generator.
