Tracking doesn’t work. The app is out of date. Very disappointed that such a great app has been neglected.

Great app until the map downloads stopped working, maybe update the app so that people can actually use what they paid for. Figure it out.

Was a great app but they aren’t updating
I used to rely on the app for a number of hunting seasons. Not they are not updating the hunting synopsis and LEH synopsis. These are vital pieces of information and without them updating I don’t use the app. I feel like I wasted my money buying the extra map package and don’t recommend this app anymore.

What’s going on?
I’ve been using Hunt Buddy for years and love it but lately I’ve noticed that they are not updating the information in a timely fashion. The LEH Synopsis and Hunting Regulations are out dated. They always had the Elk Bugle to notify you that the LEH draws were out and that the draw has been made which was a cool feature that we all look forward to hearing. Not sure what’s going on there but we would appreciate it if you updated the information on the APP.

It’s great. No subscriptions, needs an update
One of the last great apps I use without a subscription. It needs an update. I love how I can use everything offline.
If the nickel and dimes don’t work, I’d pay $5 a year for this. Or next time the creator is in Revelstoke, I’ll get them a beer.

Be careful
Love how handy the app is but this year they did not put the updated LEH synopsis on the alp and because it says 2023-2024 on top, many people assumed it was current and used those hunt codes. There is now lots of people with hunting trips authorized in areas very far from where the thought they were putting in for! This really makes it hard to trust any info on the app if something so big is missed like this.

Good Thoughts - Needs Updating
I’ve been using Hunt Buddy for several years and have found some of its features such as tracking very useful.
Some things that I think this app needs for improvement is updating symbols for drop points, such as a foot for trail markers, other species maybe moose, sheep, bear etc.
I’ve also ran into some serious challenges with confirming what is and isn’t private land. The app may not be completely current as I’ve been told multiple times that BC Assessment is the most recent information to confirm crown/private land and those don’t show the same on this app.
