It's been more than 3 years and my notes are still there!

I used this app from 2013 to 2015. This year I come back to university to continue study. I downloaded this app and found my notes are still here!! It just brought me back to my old days! Absolutely love this app!

Great

This is a great app! I wish downloadable fonts can be used here. also please suppot the multitasking ability of ipad where you can view two files at the same time. Also a search text feature inside the file.

I love this, used for years

I especially appreciate importing PDF books & highlighting, making notes & doodles/illustrations on with Note.

Powerful app.

STILL LOVE THIS APP ❣️

i’ve been using this app for so long i can’t remember how many years!

And it’s STILL my FAVORITE APP ❣️

To my mind, the best

I have tried a lot of the multi-purpose (typing, handwriting, audio and video, import web materials, and presentation) apps, and I like this one the best (by far). Here's why.

1. The handwriting recognition module (an in-app purchase), called Mazec, is simply the most reliable and easy to use of any offered.
2. The variety of writing implements offered are easy to access, and the handwriting experience is excellent. Because of ease of access, it is easy to change implements quickly -- essential for note taking in a fast-paced classroom or lecture environment.
3. One can use pinch and zoom or bottom zoom for handwriting. Writing with pinch and zoom also has auto scrolling, so you don't get stray lines on your page.
3. Pages and backgrounds can be imported or created and then made into templates. Thus, the user has an infinite variety of page backgrounds.
4. One can cut and paste pages not only between documents, but also between Metamoji apps (for example, between Note and Share).
5. The entire note background (not just the page) can be used for posting photos and typed materials; handwriting can be created on the page and then moved (pasted) on the note background. Thus the entire canvas (page and note background) can be used.
6. App can accommodate very long notes (over 100 pages) without slowing down.
7. Notes can be stored in a comprehensive filing system using folders and infinite levels of subfolders.
8. Tagging system allows the same note to be stored in several folders at once. Just add tags corresponding to different folders' names, and the note appears in all the named folders.
9. The app has its own cloud system, Metamoji cloud, which works reliably. Documents can thus be synced among devices.
10. The iPhone app is as full-featured as the apps for iPad, and one purchase covers everything.

I am sure that I have forgotten to mention some other crucially important features.

I use this app for everything. I would probably need several apps in order to do all that this one can do.

Best app for taking notes during class/meetings

I have and use other handwriting apps as well. But the lack of lag when switching back and forth from handwriting and typing, and the ability to type anywhere immediately your finger/stylus immediately touches on the “paper,” make it the best for taking notes when you want to get everything quickly (when you want to type most of the time, but quickly switch to handwriting here and there to quickly draw a diagram or picture).

There’s a few things I would like to be added (like being able to skip to the end of a text box when pressing “cmd+right,” or toggling bold/italic etc text with “cmd+b/i,” etc), but other than that, that’s kinda nitpicking.

Not recommended

There is no update for ios 11 compatibility after two months. Refer to update history before spend your money and time. They always have delay in updating their product.

Best not taking and hand writing recognition app out there

Real note organizing. You write notes, the App types them for you. Couldn't be easier. Tag your notes by subject/folder.

Almost there

I'm pretty happy I found this app. I have an iPhone and an iPad and so used notability for my note taking. However it's been a hassle at school because our student loaner laptop is windows based so I've been transferring notes back and forth between notability and onenote-which isn't user friendly on a laptop. Now that I've found Metamoji I just use one app at home and at school for all my note taking. It's easy to use, and is user friendly on all my devices. The only downer is the long wait times for syncing - specially on the laptop. So now I've learned to make sure everything is all synced up the night before so I don't have to worry about missing notes and annotations when I get to school.

12.9 iPad Pro Resolution

It's disappointing that an update to support the 12.9 inch resolution has not been made yet. There is no excuse for it to take so long especially for customers who have paid for the app.
