Reading required
This app is not pre-K friendly! Reading is required, a lot of reading. Unless you can sit and teach everything, this app is no good.
Avatars ignore diversity
The avatar options on this app are only Caucasian. This mindless exclusion makes the app less desirable. Never got past the opening page of the app.
Great App but lacking
I really love this app. One of my sons loves to do the challenges and get gold stars or beat his time. The thing is... BOTH of my sons play it. My youngest son can't really earn medals because the app only shows my oldest's medals. The developer should offer multiple profiles so this wouldn't be a problem.
And the people complaining their children can't read... sit down and work with them.

Doesn't work!!
It doesn't work without photo!! Change it!
Redunkulous!
I will mirror what everyone else is saying! This was designed for pre-K? Pre-K children aren't going to read the questions, choose the correct response, and then hit a "submit" button! I deleted it.
Not age appropriate
I have two major criticisms of this app.
First, the requirement to insert a photo into the avatar/character. Please make this optional.
Second, the majority of preschoolers I know can't read. This makes reading the "books" and knowing the questions a problem.
I downloaded this app to use one-on-one or in with small groups in my preschool/jr kindergarten classes. They get tired of hearing my voice so I wanted an interactive app that would engage them and reinforce colours, etc. I guess this isn't one of those. I'll keep looking.

Work with your kid!
Great app. Those complaining that their kids can't read: work with them!
Reading for pre schoolers? Doesn't make sense!
This is a math app for pre schoolers but they have to know how to read to play it. Too bad my 4 year old hasn't mastered that skill yet!!!!
Half star for this app. 1. Do you think pre-k kids knows reading? 2. Do you think parents reads them
Concept is good but basic is missed. Make it simple guys. Don't waste time
Not usable for a preschooler
Someone spent a bit of time to make this cute, but not really worth the space on your device.
This app requires a lot of reading. A preschooler can't do much unless someone else is reading to him. It has a heptagon, prism - which it calls pyramid, and sphere, but no octagon, trapezoid or even rectangle!! This app would not prepare your little guy/gal for kindergarten.
Preschoolers need to practice counting to at least 30, moving quickly on to 100. ROYGBIV for colors and usually eight basic shapes - square, rectangle, circle, triangle, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, trapezoid, and sometimes rhombus. Don't forget upper and lower case letters and sounds recognition. Simple math manipulation would be great as well.
Call the school they will be going to and ask what their entrance goals will be. It varies by state. Don't be afraid to shoot beyond the mark. Teachers are amazing, but they can't do it alone.
Parents, please don't leave the fate of your child's education all to an app. Personally read to them, give them toys in the bath to manipulate, and count with them using blocks, Legos, and Lincoln logs. Ask them questions and listen when the ask questions back. I've seen too many kids raised by television and poor apps like this.
