  • The best editor

Really useful and helpful, I had a few editors on my cellphone and none of them were as good as this one. It totally worth it, in my opinion, it's the best editor!
  • Edit erased my work

I just encountered 3 critical problems which are why I will be deleting this app.

    1. While entering text into a text file I could not scroll the page so the key board was covering my data entry point. It is extremely hard to add or edit text when you can't see where it is going. The only work around is to put in enough carriage returns until the doc is long enough to cause scrolling to activate.

    2. After entering a full page of data I was looking for the save and tapped the edit button in the top right corner (a square with a pen in it). This wiped all of my input data!!!

    3. There is no undo function to fix what just happened!!

  • Too many pop ups including asking for a review after I said to stop asking

Too many pop ups including asking for a review after I said to stop asking. Otherwise an ok app
  • Annoying Pop Ups Are Annoying

Pretty good editor, though not always the most intuitive. The ads are not so bad but the persistent 15sec delay while they "encourage" you to look at other products is a drag.
  • Writing a review so that it hopefully won't bug me in the future.

Decent app, so far it does what it advertises.
  • Annoying popups

Every time I close a file, it displays a popup asking me to rate this app, despite the fact that every time it does so, I say "Don't ask again." Additionally, every time I open the app, it displays a popup that last for fifteen seconds asking me to "upgrade." If you persistently nag your users, it doesn't make them want to buy your product, it just pisses them off.

  • Doesn't save unless you do just the right sequence of taps

You must do an exact, unintuitive sequence of taps (too complicated to list here) to save your work, or else your work will be lost, sometimes without warning. This sequence is made more complicated by the fact that the app uses standard icons for non-standard meanings.
  • Could use some improvement

This app only works in landscape, which is very annoying. It also doesn't sink with icloud (to have all your files on every device. Adding those two would really make me rate this 5 stars
  • Text erased twice

I spent about 30 minutes typing up a paper for class, and then my work was deleted. Spent another 30 minutes retyping my work, and it was deleted again.

PS -using the "undo" button didn't do anything
  • Great, but with one flaw.

Great editor and I love the features. This may not be a deal-breaker for other users, but iEditor seems to only operate in landscape/horizontal mode. Since I work in portrait/vertical mode, moving the ipad around when switching from browsing to writing and back is between perplexing and annoying depending on what I am trying to do and how tight my deadline is. This is the only reason I did not give it five stars: it's only one problem but a fairly significant one for this user and why I'm still not "home" with iEditor. Those who do everything in landscape mode will love it, though, since everything else about it is great.
