What UI improvements?
Every few days there is yet another update with promised UI improvements… but nothing really ever changes in the app. There’s not even a design with both high/low temps for the day. Try harder developers!

A good app ruined
It’s a shame they got greedy.
A great idea, and a nicely made app, I too was happy to pay a one off payment for ‘life time’ premium features, until they decided they could make more money and screw all their customers by making everyone pay more.
Now it also crashes and shuts down when searching for pictures by location.
0 chance I’ll pay the over priced subscription.

Disappointed and Frustrated with WesthershotPro
I initially purchased the full version of WesthershotPro, and it was a seamless experience. However, ever since the company rolled out a new subscription-based app, the quality of the original has significantly deteriorated. It’s clear that the company intentionally sabotaged the app I paid for, making it almost unusable and constantly prompting to shift to the new subscription model. While I understand the need for businesses to evolve and adapt, compromising the integrity of a product that loyal customers have already invested in is downright unfair and a questionable business practice. I expected better from a company I once held in high regard. Very unhappy customer.

Just been going through my apps and I clicked on it and now you want me to pay to use it , it was free before now you want £32 it’s a joke getting deleted
Another Subscription
This was a brilliant app. Loved the original, then I liked it so much I paid for the Pro version. Now it’s gone to subscription and I’ve lost access to all the features. So frustrating. You should have let early adopters retain their access. I don’t use the app enough to justify a monthly subscription and a fairly hefty fee at that for what it is. So disappointed.

Way too expensive for what you get!
I used to have this app in the early days, but the yearly price has almost doubled in 4 years!
I can no longer afford it on my now fixed income lifestyle.
Too bad as it was a pretty cool way to share the weather at my location.

Paid for an App but then….
I purchased WeatherPro app in 2010. Paid for it and loved it. Used it all the time but then one day the app stopped working…oh yeah they developed a completely new app under the same name and charge an egregious amount of money for it. The developer created an update that made it where my app just stopped working. This way I have to download their new app (under the same name) and start paying an annual fee? No one time fee? Whatever, I’ll never pay.

Hasn’t Worked Properly Since 16.4 iOS Update
When it works this is a wonderful app, but they charge premium price for an app that is very buggy & they are slow to support. Multi-location weather skins don’t work. My paid subscription stops working after a month EVERY YEAR & customer service is VERY slow to do anything about it. Had to get a refund from Apple, then reinstall and pay AGAIN. Will give this 5 stars if they ever fix it. For now, it’s $40 down the drain.

Abandoned legacy premium users
I’m a legacy premium user, having paid for WeathershotPro when it was a single payment for lifetime access. The developer then launched an essentially identical WeatherShot app (this one) to force legacy users to subscribe to regain access to features we had already paid for.
I understand the need for many developers to switch to subscription models, but most maintain the legacy status of those paid before the switch… at least offer legacy premium users a reduced subscription rate.
