Glitchy. Poor substitute for the already lacking periodical. Hasn't been updated in years. Unprofessional.
Disappointing
Shoddy at best, not a reliable app, down at least once a week
Not too impressed
Worked well at first. Now I receive messages stating the app wasn't able to reach the application server consistently. Only app that I have ever had an issue with and have tried reinstalling to no avail.
Much better than expected
I can say for a small town newspaper I didn't expect a great app but since I read the news everyday, I decided to give it a try. I have never written a review for any app but I wanted to make sure that any one else considering this app knows that it is very nice. Fast and full featured, much easier to navigate than the mobile site or even the desktop site!

Are sports really that important?
The app prominently displays sports as its own button in the app. Way too prominent for a news app when all other news is combined together. The app lacks the ability to put all desired news items in one view. You have to flip between sections. At least you can reorder the pages of the news section.
