A different informative perspective
I like to listen during my morning walk. News you don’t really hear anywhere else. So glad I put this on my phone. I started listening on my way to work in the car. The app is the perfect companion. Definitely plan to start being a monthly donor.

I use this for WBOI on the go, particularly when I’m out of range for the radio tower. It works brilliantly!
Still dropping out
This app has been dropping out for years. Even after trying to get help from support and doing all they said I can’t keep it running for more than 15 minutes before I have to shut down the app and restart it. Very frustrating when support claims they can’t duplicate the problem.

WBOI App
I work in Michigan and use the app to listen to WBOI.
I also am no longer stuck in the car in the garage waiting for a show to end- just bring it up on the app and an continue listening.

Love this App for the Gospel Flight
Great While Traveling
I frequently travel outside of the listening area (NE Indiana) and really enjoy the convenience of being to continue listening to shows when the FM signal weakens. It’s also nice to be able to listen to local news and programming when I’m away from home for several days when traveling on business and holiday trips. There is always the fallback of going through the website when only a wired connection is available or when I’m working on a pc and can use a browser without using my data.

Buffering...
It buffers and has to reload a lot. I also don’t like that WBOI isn’t available on the regular NPR app because you have this separate one.
Cuts off sometimes
Sometimes when ai’m listening, the sound inexplicably cuts off. But I very much like the app’s convenience.
