Don’t buy this
This is the first time I’ve been so disappointed in an app that I tried to get a refund. It wouldn’t work, and I think Apple should remove this product altogether.
Awful. Needs to be removed from App Store
I foolishly hit ‘Purchase’ before checking the reviews and the version history. The app hasn’t been updated in 9 years, and is genuinely awful. I immediately started trying to figure out how to get a refund, but of course that’s either not possible or carefully hidden. Try going to ‘App Support’ if you want to go to an unresponsive site. I would definitely give this zero stars if I could. It should not still be available.

Save your money
This app does not work for me AT ALL. Many times, I see only a white screen. Many times, it throws me back out to my iPhone Home Screen for no apparent reason. I usually download only free apps. This is the first one I ever paid for. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! Guess I’ll stick to free ones going forward. (I failed to notice the app hasn’t been revised in over seven years. THAT should have been a clue for me but, as I said, I missed that.)

Doesn’t work
The headline says it all. It doesn’t work. Just displays blank pages. And the few times it worked, when I searched by a keyword, it returned only 2 or 3 quotes (I did make sure I was on the “all” tab and it still only showed 2 or 3 quotes).
Useless
This app is useless. Each screen is white. Maybe it uses a white font, but I can’t actually read the quotations most of the time and there appears to be no way to change it.
total disappointment
i’m hoping this app is broken and can be fixed because it is the worst app I have ever paid for in my life. I’ve been using Bartletts quotations for decades, so disappointing this is the only way I can interact with your site now. You really need to rethink this, and you should refund every single person who’s ever paid for this app including me.

Great idea, non-performer to put it mildly. I’ve written very few reviews, I making an effort to save anyone else the disappointment.
Basically, it does not work, the search engine is worthless. If you have the book, keep it.

Fix it or get rid of it
I should have checked the reviews before I bought it although four dollars was an OK investment for something that doesn’t work very well
I have a ton of quotes of my own maybe I should submit that and make my own app this has far fewer

Failed app
Difficult to understand…impossible to use. The creator of this app is bereft of common sense. I’m so disappointed. Wasted my money. IT DOES NOT WORK……..P E R I O D !
