Good dictionary
I use this dictionary all the time. It's not exhaustive and more technical or specialist vocab isn't covered, but for an every day dictionary it's really good. I really like that I don't have to specify which language the word I'm looking up is in - makes it even quicker. Would be useful if genders of nouns were included.Show lessKlf44

Have tried a few other French/English dictionaries and this one tops them all. The examples of how the word is used makes a big difference. I had been wrong when using other dictionaries. Only suggestion would be when the words are spoken, a dash bit slower would be great.&Grins
Awesome app
This app is awesome for what it is. It isn't as robust as other dictionaries, but it works in areas with little network connectivity and you don't have to be specific about which language you are translating from. I use this when I need something fast, and other apps when I need something more involved (e.g. Conjugation of verbs).Show lessLanguLover

This program
When it works, this app is wonderful. Unfortunately, it is frustratingly inconsistent, often freezing up or refusing to leave " settings". I have a major love/ hate relationship with it.

Good, but needs gender
Excellent for translation. If you're learning French, however, it doesn't tell you if a word is masculine or feminine. That becomes frustrating when you're trying to write correctly.Learning the language
