  • Maps don't open

I just updated to the new version. Maps no longer open. Tapping on one, it flashes up then disappears. This happens for all of them.

Hi Tbtango! I would love to help solve this issue, but I would need you to contact me and let me know what iOS version and device you are using. Barring that, please try to delete the app from your device and then try reinstalling the app. This is often enough to fix any issues. It would be great if you got in touch though! trailmapps@gmail.com
  • Thank you

I love this app. As someone with no sense of direction, this app has saved me many times. I appreciate all the work that was put into it. Thank you and thank you again.
  • Fantastic trail guide to carry in your pocket

A few glitches with the start up ( my own ignorance) led me to the developer, who got back to me immediately and walked me through the problems and have been gaily tromping around the nearby trails since. Recommend it highly for detailed and accurate guides through back country hiking trails on the Sunshine Coast!

  • Trail Overlays

It would be really nice if your route overlays were transparent as opposed to being so solid that they obscure the information underneath them.
  • Not worth it

Incredibly confusing interface (is GPS on or off? How accurate is it?), and the Powell River / Sunshine Coast Trail maps have no waypoints or markers or anything. No altitude indicator. These are all things that I'd expect to be fixed in a $0.99 app; definitely not worth $10, especially if you intend to use it for the SCT.

Hi, Roodent! Thanks for the review. "GPS ON" indicates that the GPS is on. "GPS OFF" indicates that the GPS is off. The compass tool includes the accuracy that your iPhone is currently achieving. These things are all explained in the App Tips that are shown upon the initial launch of the app and are also available in the "Info" section of the app. The Powell River/Sunshine Coast Trail map was included in the app to accommodate the request of another user and was never intended as a completed map, but I've been informed that having the route available is handy. I'm unaware of any $0.99, or free apps that have the extent of mapping that we do. I hope the app will prove more useful to you now that we've clarified the complicated GPS tool.
  • Regular updates?

I enjoy using the app, but am curious if updates to include the new trails that continue to be constructed here on the Coast?
  • Great MTB maps

I have most of these apps for BC. Wish they were made for area in the U.S. Awesome!
  • Not what I thought it was

The maps says sunshine coast and yet the main trail, the Sunshine Coast Trail is not on this mapping system other than the end at Saltery Bay. Also it is very hard to read.
  • Pretty good

Really liked to see all the local trails. Would have liked the map to zoom in better but not bad. The GPS function is a bonus. Some biking trails should be labelled hiking only. Price was a bit more than we wanted to spend. Noticed that some trails are on private property and should be updated and removed.
