In most video playback or monitoring situations different codecs and display types as well as hardware cause a delay between the video signal and the audio signal. Catchin' Sync helps the user to determine amount of sync delay between video and audio devices. Catchin Sync can also be used to measure the distance of a sound making event (bouncing ball, lightning etc). This free version includes a sample video for demonstration purposes. You'll need to purchase the Full Access to enable video recording to use in your tests.

Can’t knock this
I’m a home user who bought this to fix the audio sync on my AV receiver.

I really should knock this for being objectively expensive for what it is, but the one thing it does do it does absolutely perfectly, and i no longer have to worry if I’ve messed the settings up calibrating it by eye, which i’ve been trying to do on-and-off for literally years!

Worth every penny just to not have to deal with that :)

Wow, fixed my 3 year issue in 5 mins
Ok, I was annoyed at $20, but oh man is it worth it. UI could use work and the slider bar took a min to understand, but it gets the job done. I’ve been dealing with a sync issue ever since I replaced my TV and receiver, never got the timing right. 5 mins with this and it fixed my issue instantly. 100% recommend to anyone having sync issues.
