  • Drains battery

Using the app 23 mins will drained my battery of 28% on my iPhone 7. There might some optimization needed.
  • Used To Be Good!

Does fine when working. The app crashes my phone. Have to do multiple hard resets to get it to respond. No pint in having this app if you cant use it. If there is an emergency, good luck. Wont recommend until it gets fixed!
  • Barely works, slow, and they came out with a new one... not for us

It's always great when a company like this Takes it's loyal customers and screw them. This app which is horrible, and full of bugs. Needs to be redone. Instead they are taking their new app and only allowing the new units to use it"proconnect"
  • Long time avertx fan

I like avertx. Tried the andriod app and it's faster by quite a bit. Clearer image quality too. Maybe apple charges them a lot of money to update apps and the apple side doesn't get the new stuff. Wish it was a better app. Best camera system out there but app needs work
  • What happened?

Was working great until update on Jan 14th...

Was very happy with the remote access, now very frustrated.
  • Uses battery quickly

I am using this app on an iPhone 5S with iOS 9. It works most of the time to connect to my NVR at home and view the camera feeds. Setup was easy. Reviewing past alerts and finding specific videos works, but needs user interface improvements. A small problem is that the display does not preserve the aspect ratio of the original image from the camera. A huge problem is that the app uses a battery power extremely quickly, as in 1-2% every minute. It continues to use up the battery even when I have turned off the screen, so it's not propertly suspending in the background. It burns up the battery so quickly that my phone gets hot!

  • Unusable

Since ATT changed their equipment to IPV6, the DDNS connection (under ip address in the app) no longer connects. It will only work with wifi connection. In order to view the cameras on IE , you have to use the 192.168.xx.xxx address . This makes AvertX a very difficult system to use, until they find a work around

  • Does not work as expected

I tried this app on my new iPhone 6 and older iPad mini, and the video shows at 1-2 frames per second. Is like watching still pictures. Can’t really be used for remote monitoring as claimed and expected. I hope they fix the app
  • No update in over a year?

App does the job but when will we see a polished up version with more functionality that at least resembles the current iOS?
