SCAM!!!They will charge your card before free trial is up!!!
I downloaded this app and got a free trial for 7 days! About 2 days before the free trial ended, I cancelled the subscription. Tape a call tried to charge my card before my trial was up! Now I’m not able to Download anything from the Apple Store until I Pay Tape a call 9.99! Apple told me I would have to pay the 9.99 and then they would refund me! Paid it because Apple told me to and then they denied the refund!! That’s crazy that I have to pay for something that I canceled well before the trial was up! I actually liked the app at first but this has put a sour taste in my mouth!!!! This is straight not okay! Now I can’t download anything from Apple Store because everytime I try it says verification and prompts me to put a debit card in and tries to charge my card! I will be contacting my LAWYER!!! I wish I could give it a -0 There is also no way you can contact Tape a call! What kind of business doesn’t have a way for customers to contact them? 🤬🤬🤬That’s sounds SCAMMY TO ME! Please Guys don’t download this app! They just scammed me out of my money! I’m getting legal services involved! Apple will refuse your refund and appeal!!! Big OLE SCAM!!!

I downloaded the app, was asked to add number for free trial, got the pin and confirmed number and the app stayed on the purchase a subscription plan page. I went on to purchase the weekly subscription to try the app and it still hasn’t loaded and remains on the purchase a subscription plan page.

Been using TapeACall for a while now. Recently had asked me to sign in. I’ve paid the renewal fee and I am trying to sign in, but it gives me a six digit number to enter into five spaces. This makes no sense! Why give me a six digit code if you only provide five spaces? So now I can’t login I’m stuck! Somebody from development. Please get back to me before I give this app a really bad rating, and give me back my money if that’s the case.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!
Most people who want/need a phone call recording app have a good reason for it. I recorded some calls back on 2020 when I was laid off due to the pandemic… I thought I might need some proof of something for legal reasons and have paid for this service ever since then, even when they jacked up the price. Now that I’m going through a divorce in a state with one party consent law, I needed this app to record a call that would have helped me protect my children. Long story short, the call never showed up in my list where all the other calls I’d recorded are. Customer service takes days to respond and has made it impossible to get my hour and 45 minute call I PAID THEM TO RECORD. TapeACall doesn’t realize they are working for their customers. No sir, they gladly have taken my money for years and when I really needed them to do their job, all I get is hassle. If they’ve failed to deliver your recordings, figure out how to request a refund and do it! Don’t let this app damage your future, too!!! Put them on blast and certainly do your research on how things have been going since bending spoons purchased this app. Criminals!!

Does not work
I call the number but I won’t let me add a call
Asking me to subscribe but I already subscribed and can’t use it
It asks me to subscribe every time even though J already subscribed. It is basically a scam.
To many issues
Unfortunately does not work, I Had high hopes for this app, I use to record so I don’t miss information given in call for my clients, when some calls you you miss half the record time while the app decides to kick in, was unable to get it to automatically work so have to manually call the app number while half on call by time it connects half call missed, requested a refund and it was denied by Apple, appealed and still denied, and charged for the whole year, can’t use and won’t use

Too complicated to use, find another alternative
You have to ring a number and merge calls every time you need to record something. Not at all useful if you get a call and decide you need to record it after it’s already started. Time consuming, complicated and not worth the price they charge.
