You can reset it by shaking the iPad (as you can read in the app informations).
Simple is best
I tried fancier, more colorful, noisier apps to introduce my son to basic addition and subtraction. This simple tool eliminates distractions and allows for exploration of how these simple dots can be split, grouped, and rearranged to still mean the same thing. I'm using this in conjunction with a good old-fashioned abacus (another app) and dice games to teach addition. I'll save the apps with all the doodads for later after the concept of addition is understood.
