Crashes on iPad 8 with iOS 14.2

I use Yandex apps and browsers happily on my Macs and iPhones. I have been a professional software developer for several decades. On my new iPad 8 with fully updated iOS the Yandex Browser for iPad works normally for a few days, then starts crashing immediately on startup. The browser configuration and use is very conservative and unremarkable. The first time I experienced the problem and could not fix it, I finally deleted the browser app. After a few days I reinstalled the app, and two days later it started crashing again. Deleted it again. Will stick to Chrome on the iPad.

Update Nov 12 2020. In response to the one-star review above, Yandex support sent me a link to a new build (255) of the browser, which has now worked perfectly for two days of heavy use on my iPad 8. This is very satisfactory for me because I use Yandex browser, search, and apps on all my computers and mobile devices. The rating has been upgraded accordingly.

Please, update browser to the latest version (20.9.1.255) using AppStore. Did it help?

Please, clarify, what are you doing in browser when it consumes a lot of battery charge? How many other apps are launched at the same time? Please, send us screenshots from your device's battery management app where we can see Yandex.Browser consuming a lot of battery. To send the message, open the browser - go to «Settings» - «Contact us».

It's OK browser. No worse than the rest of them.

Works as expected. Tableau is limited to 15 entries though. Why?
Also, can anybody tell what is the difference between Yandex for iPad and plain Yandex browsers?

While the browser has a limit on the number of sites on the Tableau. Thank you for your comment. Please explain what you mean.

No multitasking?

Can somebody from Yandex explain why the browser doesn’t support multitasking on iOS. Disappointing for an otherwise good browser.

Будет ли Split-screen когда-нибудь добавлен?

Будет ли эта функция включена хотя бы в версии для айпадов? Я ставлю 3, потому что хочу обратить на это ваше внимание. К нынешним айосам, а уж тем более, к выходу айпадоса, отсутсвие разделение браузера на сплит-скрины довольно важное упущение. Спасибо.

Smooth

This browser is smooth, fast and does not crash like some others for example, Opera!!
There are features that makes this browser attractive, but I’m not going to talk about. Overall excellent.
