Quite difficult to discern how to mark out a custom map you save and then send to MyTopo to print. I gave up and will print a free one at the library using Caltopo.comTfreeman12
Landscape
Love this and use it regularly on woodland ops. I just with the app would switch to a landscape mode when I rotate my phone. Make it so much easer to use in my carrierManatarms220
Buyer beware
Trimble abandons Apps after you spend money on premium features without warning. I paid for a premium outdoor map program, and the company abandoned it without warning.
With this program, it is unusable with an expensive companion program.

Must Register Online
The app works great and syncs automatically with the desktop version to print out great looking maps. Very easy to use. You can even track a team of workers and share data almost instantly.msstuart
I’m a happy user
I’ve been using the mobile app for a couple years. It has worked flawlessly for me on iPhones. Reliable track recording (when I remember to turn it on!). Reliable track guidance and GPS coordination when I am hiking using a previously downloaded track. Have had good experiences both in California and on trips in the UK. I’ve almost come to prefer it over using a Garmin GPS unit, at least when I am day hiking or just doing walk-abouts in county parks or other near urban settings.Show lessRandyhol
Beware of Trimble
Trimble likes to abandon products without notice. Your maps may become inaccessible at the fickle whim of this developer. Just had this happen on another 'Pro' product of theirs and expect the same to happen here.geolehman

I had the old app which seemed to work. This one you are lucky if you see/display you blue dot (your location). If it does it will most likely be on a background of just white no map. FAIL!!!Megsruj

TNP mapping
I like it and it works pretty good. Iphone screen is way too small to be a very useful tool, though. Would be an ideal toop for the ipad, but there is not a version for the ipad.CharlieMiddleton
