Response from developer
Hello, Sorry for the inconvenience about the issue. Could you help to record the screen for us to check further what's steps cause the crashing? AiRemote app is used to control the ASUSTOR Portal running on the TV or monitors via HDMI cable. Please refer to https://www.asustor.com/online/College_topic?topic=136 for detailed or email to stanleyhsu@asustor.com to provide more detailed information. Thanks a lot.
Works but lacking
Works fine as a basic remote for the Portal.
Doesn't work
Doesn't work with firmware 2.6.5.R9N1
Credit where credit is due... Well done Asustor!
Given some unsatisfactory experiences with Asustor devices in the past, I'm the last person I'd expect to be tossing them kudos for anything. However, I gotta give them credit, they really knocked it outta the park with this app! It does exactly what a soft remote was meant to do. AiRemote discovered my NAS immediately, and navigates both native and add-on apps equally well. Even the keyboard works well enough to safely conduct ADM mods. In short, this app works so well, it's allowed me to repurpose the wireless keyboard and mouse, previously dedicated for NAS use. AiRemote has no ads, no lame offers, and it's free! What's not to love?
DEVELOPERS: At the time of this review, the AppStore was listing your app as "iPhone Only." Not sure if that's an Apple bug, or a self-inflicted error by your own marketing peeps. In any case, you may want to look into it further because as it stands, any AppStore user queries for AiRemote under iPad apps returns a "No Results Found." Luckily, I noticed it was in fact iPad capable while installing it on my phone. I returned to the AppStore via iPad, reran the search toggled to "iPhone Only" and then installed it without incident, on an iPad Air 2, iOS v9.3.2....

AiRemote could not find NAS
AiRemote could not find NAS, I think the reason is, that iPhone is on different subnet, NAS is connected directly to gigabit router, to which is connected wi-fi router, with different subnet. Why don't you add option to manually enter IP address??
