Description of RRate

Determines respiratory rate by tapping according to the observed breath rate of the patient. The animated breathing baby provides visual feedback for the user. The rate is determined by the median of the most recent taps and is reported in breaths per minute. The app supports REDCap integration (see https://github.com/part-cw/LNhealth/wiki/Index-of-Application-RRate) and vital signs sharing between apps (see https://github.com/part-cw/LNhealth/wiki/Index-of-Module-sharevitalsigns-for-ios).

  • Sounds Make It Unusable

This is one of the better respiratory rate apps out there in terms of ease of use, etc. despite looking like it came out of a 1990s textbook. But It’s unusable because of the terrible breathing sound it makes, which you can’t turn off.
  • Great except one feature

I would love it much more if I could turn off the breathing noise. I’m supposed to count breaths of patients without them knowing. Otherwise they will change the way they breathe and mess up the count.
  • Works well!

Great idea and easy to use
