This is not only a fantastic app for tracking multiple portfolios and investments, it is also incredible value. I have been using this app for about ten years - I am now 76. Before I tried PortfolioTrader I had tried several others. The app is absolutely amazing value, I cringe when I think of all the apps I have paid for only to find that they are of little use and negligible value. Support for this app is excellent. On a few occasions I have contacted support and always received a very helpful response, usually within a day. I do wish it updated dividends automatically but I fully understand the problems this entails. I cannot recommend this app highly enough. James, LondonShow lessJim O'C

Best portfolio tracker for iPhone that I’ve found to quickly see all your stocks on the fly.
Would be helpful if could filter trades/dividends for a time selected time period that can be emailed for tax time.

Very slow to update!
Prices are very slow to update, especially on opening the app. I’ve been using the app for years and this is a relatively new problem. Prior to writing a public comment regarding this issue, I reached out to the developer more than a week ago and never heard anything back. For now I can’t trust the app for quick checks unless I’m willing to wait about 15 seconds to be sure the values are current. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, otherwise it’s a great app.Show lessBobP63
Best portfolio tracking app, by far!
Before finding this app, I tried a lot of other apps that promise all sorts of bells & whistles, but that end up letting you down because they lack reliability and consistency.
Portfolio Trader uses Yahoo Finance (great) and Google Finance (not so much) as pricing sources, and lets you organise your holdings within portfolios. You can choose the currency of reference for the consolidated position, and different currencies for each of the sub-portfolios.
And the app also lets you track your cash position for each sub-portfolio, either by automatically updating it after each transaction, or by doing it manually if you prefer, or a combination of the two.

I had been looking for an app to take care of my investments since the app on my Mac went out of business. It was a lot of work to get all my years of trading data imported via csv files but well worth it in the end! This app works great! I am always amazed how easy it is to update info on my tiny iphone! Solid app for portfolio tracking
I don’t mind paying for stuff that works, this works.
It is a well build app that allows you to track multiple portfolios (ISA, SIPP etc) giving you an overview of your entire financial worth.
I use this along side my trading app, to give me more granular level analysis - it automatically prices my instruments and also give the latest insight from a host of online sources, saving you the effort of searching for information on any holdings you have bought.
The developer is also really responsive to new ideas for the app.
I tried many different apps prior to this, but this is definitely head and shoulders above the others.Show lessWestnelly
Great Stock Account Tracking Tool
This app allows me to track investments and cash in multiple portfolios in real time, displayed on all of my devices. It has eliminated a lot of manual input that I had been doing on Excel spreadsheets and provides instant up to date information on individual stock purchases, such as date acquired, cost basis, unrealized gain, etc. It also allows me to track foreign accounts (including equities) in foreign currencies, which is extremely helpful. Takes a little time to learn to take advantage of the many screens but once you get used to the navigation it’s great. I keep track of 4-5 portfolios including cash, margin and more than 100 positions. Would be great to keep track of options too, but I have not seen a portfolio program that is not attached to your brokerage firm that does. Colors and pie charts helps you focus on gains and losses individually, through out portfolio and collectively with all portfolios I love itShow lessJsquid41
