What a disappointment
I love these types of games, and had high hopes for this one.
Sadly, it is very disappointing. It is way too difficult and the controls feel unplayably clumsy.

Greedy Developers
The developers are so greedy, they made the game so difficult that u have to get IAP or u can't even pass the second level, the controls are terrible, can't believe they made this game , waste of money, and if you buy it, you might end up wasting more.…and plus you thumb end up covering half of the screen and u can't even dodge bullets because most of the enemies come up from the bottom of the screen, what a terrible game.

Good game needs tweaking
It's a fun shooter, but you should allow users to replay levels to gain more medals. Crashes too.

This is a great action game. The gameplay and art are superb.
Good but needs rebalancing
This is a fun and well made game. It needs more levels and the ability to replay or choose which levels you want to fly again. Lastly the final boss of this game is horrible, once you kill his engines the game drops a machine gun upgrade. This is useless as not only is it in a place that makes you vulnerable but it is also pointless since your plane is too beat up to make any use of it. Other than that fun game. Well worth it.

Really nice
I appreciate the look of the planes and the characters. It's nicely balanced for a casual game. I have a number of iOS 194x shooters-at the moment this is my favorite.
As an aside, I've had no stability issues over several sessions on an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5.

Smoke me a kipper...
Great game with nice Retro graphics. Starts easy then gets really hard. I had to re-play earlier levels to get my plane powered up. All possible with no iAPs needed. Numerous attempts are required! However zee enemy must be defeated. Got to the last boss fight, killed him and he exploded into tokens... however a stray bullet was also on screen and caught me afterwards! Aaaaaaggghhh registered as a defeat not a victory. One more go I guess.

Horrible game
Waste of money.
Don't expect too much.
It looks like it is good game, but some of the graphics is not that high res. It has a tendancy to crash repeatedly -- It did for me 4 times before the first game, and 3 times trying to play the second level. It looks like a 1942 clone -- but they use the collecting of crosses to unlock things -- which you can also buy if you don't want to do it the hard way. An all to common method of paying for free games. Not sure it works here until the stability issue is handled. The crashes add frustrasion that overwhelms the nostalgic shooter fun that was intended.

The game is fun on the most part but alot of crash i would give it 4 but alot of crashing please fix and you will get your 5
