Needs to handle sub folders
Mailwasher’s desktop version does a great job of filtering out spam and is definitely worth the money. The app doesn’t measure up in that it doesn’t import the settings/filters from the desktop and doesn’t handle sub folders (I have Hotmail send mail by default from unknown senders to a junk folder, which Mailwasher desktop does its best work). Sorry, this app doesn’t even try to replace the pc program and isn’t worth downloading.

Mobile App does NOT have any useful features, manual or otherwise to help screen spam email. Only allows you to manually delete unwanted emails received in INBOX.
Best choice is to use the Desktp App that has both manual and dynamic features to help automate the process to screen spam email.

No connection
I’ve tried this app twice now and it will not connect to my email provider (gmail) I’ve tried changing the port but it makes no difference if I connect manually through Google it’s fine obviously it’s not good enough ??? For gmail so I won’t use it for my business accounts ?? Needs work
What is this App supposed to do
Download this as got PC version so I thought this would do the same but NO IS DOES NOT this does not even tell me I have new mail even when I sync

I have tried common settings and it refuses to even connect via IMAP or POP3… GRRRR!

Would not recognize my email credentials. When attempting to register was told my email already existed!!
Login it is not working.
MailWasher pro on all iOS device that I cannot log in as it’s not working , but I’ve tried delete app as I have forced restart. I than re install it again I have tried still not working to log in, it’s should log in as I’m sure a server issue at fire trust server?
Hard to make it work with Gmail but otherwise great.
Very difficult to make this app work with Gmail but I think that’s down to Google being arsy. But for a free app it’s great. Kudos

Useless
I use the desktop version of MailWasher. It does a good job of learning what is spam and stopping it. This does none of that. All it has is a trash can to delete mail from the server. What a disappointment.
The developers should offer subscribers like me a version that has the desktop functionality. I would also suggest storing the app configuration (accounts, blocked sender, learning, etc.) in the cloud so that both desktop and mobile versions can leverage and update it.
I hope that app development reads this and realizes that they need to make these changes before some other product does so and lowers their market share.
