Such an awesome app and a must need if you gamble!

I decided to start playing high limit slots in 2023 and wanted a very detail oriented and organized app that would help me keep track of all my wins and losses in addition to W-2s. I have used this app extensively over the past year and have nothing but rave reviews, my year-end reporting was a breeze, and I also needed some additional assistance with one of my reports and the developer was extremely responsive and helpful by making an update with that request. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful app, responsive developer

Just wanted to drop a quick review of this app I’ve been using for a couple years now. Works well, never any issues, and when I emailed the developer asking for a feature to be added he not only responded to my query but actually added the feature as requested!

I love supporting small developers who actually care about their customer and can’t recommend this highly enough to anyone wanting to keep data on their play.

Must Have App!

I love this app, which was recommended by a cruising casino friend! It’s great to be able to clone cruise ship casino trips so my favorite slots are already loaded, and it helps me remember which games are on which ship. Logging a gambling session is super fast and easy. I also appreciate being able to see my ongoing tab, and the color coding that indicates whether a trip or session is up or down is a nice touch.

The website’s FAQ section provides more detailed information. I use the “Notable” call out to note free play, participating in a slot pull, or hosting a slot pull. That allows me to still record the slot played like usual. For free play, I enter a starting value of $0, record the actual free play value in the free text notes section, then record the ending value of any cash I win. I also use the free text notes section to record my points.

For the trip name, I include my points and the number of nights I cruised. I also add a trip for the end of the tax year and the end of the player’s points year with a summary of my stats.

The developer is very responsive, and the new update allowing reordering of trips and sessions is super helpful. I highly recommend this app!

An invaluable resource

I rely on this incredible app on every casino trip and greatly appreciate its ability to track with utmost precision each and every session, allowing not only for exceptional record-keeping but for personal assessment of gameplay.

Real-time reality check!

I use this app every time I gamble. Love it. I track every session for me, but just an end-of-day result from my wife. It’s fun and keeps us aware of how we’re doing over time.

Version 2.6 (Jun 30, 2020) corrects a long pause (10-20 seconds) at startup before the application becomes responsive. This behavior was the result of insufficient preparation in anticipation of changes introduced in iOS 13.

Don’t waste your money

App will open but when I click on new trip or trip and sessions and nothing. Forced closed multiple times, restarted device. And nothing.

I have to add a session 2-3 times before it saves. Could also use more options for machine number, tips, etc.

This symptom could be the result of unloading the app from memory too quickly. IMPORTANT: When quitting Gamble Diary always allow 10-15 seconds if you intend to UNLOAD THE APP FROM MEMORY (Home-Home-Swipe App Up). This assures enough time for any newly entered trip and session data to be saved. Sorry for this inconvenience. Regarding your improvement ideas, We will be adding relevant FAQs to our support page. And don't hesitate to contact us with additional information on these suggestions through out contact page.

App Crashes Even Before Opening ...

Impressed with help from the developer ... app now works.

Have just begun to use ... it is for a select market, but for many of us who live in Las Vegas it is a must have ... I’m now moving my rating to 4 stars.

Latest update is awesome

I’ve had the app for a while and really like it. You can be as detailed or simple as you want. I contacted the developer with some items that were not working right and also asked for some changes to make entry easier. I was contacted directly and the issues were fixed and the enhancements were done. Excellent communication and awesome update. Thanks much.
