Instant joy and plays nice with other apps

Well done! This thing was intuitive and useful right out of the box, a great UI that makes it easy to be creative. A nice addition is being able to change the color scheme to make the buttons more readable. Lots of great patterns here, and TONS of user presets to save a gajillion of my own patterns. With virtualMIDI it plays nicely with Sampletank and SampleWiz as well as all the other apps mentioned already, so I can arpeggiate with my own sounds until the cows come home. Nice!

Add Audiobus support and I'll come back and add a 5th star!

So good, not quite what it could be...

Incredible app. IOS musicians rejoice! Love the interaction with other core midi apps. The one thing holding this app back from being really a great and perfect 5 stars is the glaring omission of audiobus. Alex..GET ON THE BUS ASAP, pretty please!!! Serious IOS musicians require audiobus support to truly make each and every app work to its full potential!

Wow

Ok just downloaded and felt compelled to write a review straight away.
The app seems amazing. Awesome infinitely customisable arpeggios - but even better is the extraordinarily good built in help. I normally dive right into apps and learn as I go along but the help system here guides the process. Wow.

Very professionally put together.

get This sequencer

I have bought about every sequencer for ipad. I have to say, this one gives you VERY interesting results. I ran my Mopho and Tetr4
Thru it and this sequencer made them sound like an expensive modular environment! Thanks to the developer!

Awesome...!

This is really nice, works very well, extremely usable, a secret weapon in any arsenal...

Instantly musical

Incredibly well thought out!

No midi in on note change

Only midi in for pattern change and clock sync. No midi in for note on off...beware! More a pad twiddling toy than an arpeggiator and pattern sequencer....real instruments are currently excluded... is that pro?
Has potential if updates follow..... Currently No landscape mode for dock users either.....

Home Run!

If you've skimmed through the other reviews then you already know that this is a very easy to use music creation tool. I can't really say it any better than they already have. But there is something that people are missing. This is also a very good relaxation therapy app. Even if you only use the internal synth you can't help but feel good as you create random patterns that are wonderfully musical. You might stumble upon a progression to use in a song while simply trying to relax. Pick this app up. You won't regret it and it won't be useless by next month. It just keeps giving.

Expensive but worth it

Big step up from the previous version midl integration is just what was needed :)

Nice to see developers who respond quickly to email queries as well - thanks.

Excellent

This is such a good app, its midi integration is flawless and has no latency whatsoever even when swapping between apps inside the program. One of the great things with this is that once you have an arpeggio set up and running from say Animoog or Sunrizer you can then hop over to that program and tweak with it as much as you like..All in all a very versatile and useful app with stacks of potential..A few people have complained that the price is high, however it takes along time to produce something of this quality and functionality, so I think the price is fair plus the fact that there are no hidden in app purchases to worry about..i.e you may get Alchemy Mobile for free but if you want all its function and sounds it will cost you a bundle more, look at the brilliant animoog for instance, not only does it cost a stack but it also has in app stuff to buy...So all in all if you buy this you will get a solid reliable and most excellent midi controller and synth...five stars...
