Word Vault stores all the words you want to remember and helps you to internalize them. Mundane, exotic, functional, highfalutin: amass a cache of words you love, then learn them all. We learn fastest with frequent exposure to new words. Use Word Vault as your regular dictionary app, and it will remind you to come back and review the words you've looked up. Reviews are quick, fun, and help you to get words out of your phone and into your brain. Features: - Robust offline English dictionary, and online lookup for esoteric words - Vocabulary review system with a configurable schedule - Pronunciations - Images and Illustrations - Translations (See note* below!) - Auto-complete and spell-check suggestions - Thesaurus functionality - Customization of your word list with notes, sources, and favorites - Example sentences - URL support, so you can look up words from other apps: wordvault://define?text=yourtext If you'd like to get in touch for any reason, you can follow @chaoticgoodies on Twitter, or email contact@chaoticgood.com. Psst, Educators: You can purchase Word Vault for students, teachers and administrators at a discount through Apple’s Volume Licensing Program! *Translation functionality can be activated with a one-time in-app-purchase. Please note that translations are provided for the words looked up and not for definitions. • Great App with Two Problems

This app is so helpful. It is exactly what I was looking for. I would love to have given it 5 stars. Two things stopped me. In the review, there are 145 words that come up for review, and I know all of them now. I have more words in the vault, but only the first 145 words ever come up for review. The second problem is that two particular words I have in the vault make the app close every time I tap those words. I think I need an update but can’t figure out how to get it. “App Support” page can’t be found. I would greatly appreciate help with these issues.

  • Really Good App

I really enjoy this app. I like that it gives you words and an associative picture with it so that you’ll remember what the word is. I also like the fact that it stores those words and pictures so they’re easily accessible if you need to refer to them or need to find a word that fits into a particular part of a sentence. It’s a really really good app. I wish that I gave announcements for new words so that you can build upon that vocabulary. You’ve already started. But overall, it is fantastic to learn vocabulary words, and they have them stick in your mind.

  • A digital reliquary for all your beautiful words

It will collect words, sure. But more importantly, it will help you weave the words you collect into your day-to-day life.

This app does good in the world, full stop.
