Updates in RealGuide 1.4:
- Fixes a bug in iTunes music playback that could cause a crash.
There have recently been some changes made to the iTunes Search API that have caused some problems. We have been working with Apple on a solution and believe it has now been resolved. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers.

Version 1.1 contains many improvements to the user experience:
- Filtering titles by source has become much easier with the Source Selector now available right from the All Tunes tab.
- Searching and previewing of titles in the iTunes Store has been much improved.
- Much of the Help content is now available right in the places where you need it. Just look for the help icon on any screen.

Description of RealGuide
One of the most important things for a musician to do, whether an aspiring student or a seasoned professional, is to learn lots of tunes. For most of us, this means acquiring a large collection of fake books to ease the task of learning all this important music. But it sure would be nice to hear some recordings and get an idea what some of these tunes are supposed to sound like. Relax! RealGuide has come to the rescue!
RealGuide provides lists of song titles from some of the best fake books you can buy, and can quickly search the iTunes Music Store for recorded versions which you can preview and purchase (if you choose). What a great way to learn tunes and start expanding your listening library!

Music Search
RealGuide can search for tracks by song title on the iTunes Store, as well as tracks you already have in your iPhone/iPad music library. You can even search iTunes stores from other countries.
Song Titles
RealGuide includes thousands of song titles from dozens of great fake books, including all titles from the Hal Leonard Real Book series, as well as the Sher Music Co. fake book series. Song titles come from a variety of styles including: jazz, bluegrass, blues, dixieland, holiday, latin, rock, standards, and worship.
Listen to Tracks
Listen to previews from iTunes Store tracks as well as complete tracks from your iPhone/iPad music library. Browse full albums from the iTunes Store. Preview and purchase individual tracks or complete albums.
