The Récord Review
It’s somewhat improved from the rabid right wing trumpet it once was but fact remains: the Op-Ed staff still favors the Trumptard hit parade putting parent choice above public good in regard to masks and vaccine, anti-abortion Evangelical spew over a woman’s right to choose and continues to herald big developers clear cutting everything in sight to build what’s amounting to facsimile of Palm Beach, making St Johns County a de facto extension of JAX and Duval County.
Frankly, the only worthwhile column day in/out is Sutton’s Fish Report on Thursday.
Glad I have a digital sub to this rag, hate to think of the trees lost to print the rest.

My other hometown paper
I enjoy keeping up with the happenings in St. Augustine. I consider it my second home and The Record keeps me in touch year round. Pleasure to see on my phone.
Can’t zoom
I need to know how to zoom in for easier reading
Old News
The app itself functions satisfactorily but the Record can’t be bothered to update all the sections. The Opinion section goes weeks or months without an update. Equally damning is that they DO update the photo of the available pet of the day but do not tell you which rescue to contact. The lack of effort and follow through is truly unacceptable.

Great coverage of local news
Covers local interest matters very well.
Well Done!
This app makes my life easier!
Frustrating ap
This app has trashed my ability to get a copy of the Record on my iPad. I find it to be VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Contacting the Record support team gave some suggestions, none of which have solved my issues.
St. Augustine.com website
Subscription page states ‘Unsecure website’. Do not feel comfortable in using the site.
Doesn't function without membership
Terrible and now deleting the app.
Used to work...
It was working well and I enjoyed checking it often. However now it asks for a log in and says to check the mobile site for subscription information. When checking the mobile site there is nothing about a subscription. It's a great concept, but requires management.
