Sound
It would be very nice if the word and definition were read aloud when the child touched the word or the definition. For students who can't read, but are trying to spell a word, they don't know if they are spelling the correct word or something that looks similar. I was excited to find this app to use in my classroom until I realized that there was no sound or reading. Please add the sound to this app and I will purchase and use the app.

Great word variety
Excellent picture dictionary with clear pics and definitions. Easy to use. Great variety of words. Only suggestions for developers would be to have audio option to read aloud words and definitions. Also please continue to add more words including higher level complex vocabulary.
Sound
This app would be great and I would purchase the rest of it IF there was an option to have it read to you. Although my child can read she enjoys hearing things read to her as well. Make this change and I will purchase the rest of it!

Had this from quit sometime but just noticed it is one BIG application after unlocking...
Wonderful use of ipad
This is one giant dictionary for children to learn while browsing. My children learn themselves as well ask questions for clarifications. Wonderful use of ipad.
Boring and useless for a child who can't read
This would be a great app if there was sound. It's not interactive as it is, too bad, I would really like it otherwise.
Not completely free
Good dictionary so far, but only letters A-F are free, to access the rest of the alphabet is 4.99. I was disappointed because this was not listed before I downloaded the app.
Do Not Use!
I am gravely concerned about several huge issues! I see blatant sexism. Example-farmers definition uses male pronoun only. I know many female farmers! All characters are white! Last, a picture dictionary for children should have the option to read it to you. I am deleting this app until these changes are updated. In the meantime, I feel harm to young minds is being done daily. Sad. Disturbing.
