New update does not look nice
The new update is horrible. The text in news stories is so close together. Gives you a sore head reading stories.
It does not look nice looking. Can’t use this app anymore with font text like the way it is now.
Don’t know who thought this was a good idea but it’s not pleasing on the eye. Not user friendly. Please change this.

Terrible
I had this app for a good few years and the news stories were sometimes on the app for weeks on end then an update to changed the layout which wasn’t great as you had to sift through news stories with no interest to me then another update which they wanted a subscription fee no thanks. Have even stopped reading the record online as that is absolutely woeful get to grips with this daily record used to be a good news outlet now useless. app been deleted and website doesn’t get the traffic it used to

Thequality of the journalism is pretty poor at times, with spelling errors that are missed, sometimes numerous times within the same article. Also, find the content can be hit or miss, and plenty of click bait articles.

The young boy who died at school
The young boy was getting bullied at the same school by the boy that killed him thats what other children are saying the school is still open you would have thought for respect that they would have closed the school
What have you done?
Please please please put this back to the regular view so we can actually “read the paper” This is terrible. You have taken away the whole reason for subscribing to this app.

Ruined
Never the best app as the “news” was never that up to date, however with the latest update they have completely ruined the app. Now you have to tap a button to update the news and it now won’t let me log into my account so I can’t add my favourite football team into my stories tab. Totally rubbish!!! Get it fixed!!!

Sports pages as up to date as week old fish
Whoever keeps the sports pages ‘up to date’ should be checked on occasionally….misspellings, lack of punctuation and ages of players wrong consistently.
Moreover, when news hits other websites it usually takes at least 3 hours to reach DR….definitely need to upgrade your Wi-Fi or get one of your ‘expert reporters’ to keep an eye on real sports sites!
