Countdown to any date & time
I like that you can change the date and time that you are counting down to in the settings. The countdown starts off counting down to New Year's Eve and in the settings, it defaults to today's date, which makes it easy to change if you're counting down to something a week or two from now.
Nice, clean interface. I just want to know exactly how long it's going to be, and this app does that well.

The fireworks made a nice novelty. Unfortunately the timer has expired and everyone is most likely to ditch this app. Make it count down to every new year as opposed to only this year.
But the app was fully functional, and I really can't complain about anything. Came in handy when the time came ;)

Works... for now
The clock is counting down, but I'd like to preview the last minute of countdown and the settings button does nothing (using an iPad2 with iOS 5.0.1).
